Technical Description 

A truly superb set of six 19th century amber wine glasses. They have ribbed round funnel bowls above plain stems.Conical feet with polished pontils. Made by Richardson and Sons in different colours and are now very difficult to find.

England, c1840. Period of Victoria.

Condition

Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration.

Comments

The ribbed design can be seen in a number of different Richardson & Sons designs from this period as well as finger bowls and serving bottles, however, wine glasses in this colour and are exceptionally rare and to find a set of six even more so.
