Technical Description
A superb 19th century Bristol green Mell decanter which very unusually has its original hollow stopper. Both the top of the stopper and the base of the decanter have polished pontils.
Mell decanters normally come with cork stoppers (or none) and can make great wine carafes. Quite rare to find one with its original glass stopper which in this case weighs 165 grams. Overall, a high-quality example.
