Technical Description
A large studio art glass bowl by Michael J. Hunter. This form is known as the willow bowl. Handmade blown glass using the incalmo technique which is particularly difficult to execute; hot-worked from black and colourless glass in a ‘netted’ pattern with a red rim and a clear foot. The base is signed ‘M Hunter Twists 23’.
The willow bowl was voted Gift of the Year winner in 2005 by the Giftware Association.

Produced in 2023, period of Elizabeth II. Twists Glass Studio, Selkirk, Scotland.
Condition
Excellent, specially selected from the hot glass studio, as new.
