Technical Description
A large studio art glass perfume bottle by Michael J. Hunter. This form is known as the torsade bottle. Handmade blown glass using the incalmo technique which is particularly difficult to execute; hot-worked from amethyst glass with a red/orange upper body and separated by an opaque white latticino cane. A matching amethyst glass stopper is hot-worked into the form of a heart. The base is signed ‘M Hunter Twists 06 Torsade’.

Produced in 2006, period of Elizabeth II. Twists Glass Studio, Selkirk, Scotland.
Condition
Excellent, specially selected from the hot glass studio, as new.
