Technical Description
A studio art glass bottle by Michael J. Hunter. This form is known as the ‘cherry bomb’ with an organically-shaped stopper. Handmade blown glass using the incalmo technique which is particularly difficult to execute; hot-worked from amethyst glass with an aqua blue upper body. A matching amethyst glass stopper is hot-worked into three pulled spirals. The base is signed ‘M Hunter Twists 20’.

Produced in 2020, period of Elizabeth II. Twists Glass Studio, Selkirk, Scotland.
Condition
Excellent, specially selected from the hot glass studio, as new.
