Technical Description
A truly remarkable Spanish La Granja glass box decanter made in the 18th century at the Kings Royal glass factory situated inside the palace grounds. Made from local Spanish materials and crafted by highly-skilled (enticed) Bohemian glass blowers, it is a museum-quality piece.
Free blown into a square optic mould to give the straight-sided body and then finished with an extended spout and turned lip. Hand cut in the Facon De Bohme style that frames two different engraved and then gilded neo-classical scenes with flowers and cornucopia.
