Technical Description
A 19th century dip moulded decanter with fruit and vine decoration. Original mushroom stopper above three applied neck rings and a band of moulding around the base.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Alessandro Volta reported his discovery of the electric battery in a letter to Joseph Banks, president of the Royal Society of London.
