Technical Description
An engraved 18th century lead plain stem wine glass. The hollow plain stem transitions to a drawn conical bowl, engraved with a lion rampant within a fenced enclosure. This all rests upon a conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time King Louis XV disbanded French parliament on the 9th of May 1753.
