Technical Description 

A pair of cut port wine glasses. The round funnel bowl is decorated with slice cutting, this transitions to an octagonal stem. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a polished pontil. 

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time of the Beerhouse Act 1830 which liberalised regulations on the brewing and sale of beer by individuals.
