Technical Description
An engraved 19th century glass tankard. The barrel body is engraved with a jay in flight within a wreath above rib moulding, applied handle. The base is radial moulded.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the first Oktoberfest in 1810 the citizens of Munich joined Bavarian royalty in celebrating the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria, to Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen.
