Technical Description

An 18th century Ale glass dating to c1780.

It has a long round funnel bowl engarved and cut with a band of printies around the rim. Sits on a diamond facet cut stem above a conical foot.

England, c1780. Period of George III.

Condition

Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration

Comments

This glass comes from the Michael Wallis collection which took over 45 years to build and contains over 250 drinking glasses, covering all forms from the 18th century, many exceptionally rare. They will all be presented by Exhibit over the coming weeks and months.
