Technical Description
A fine pair of 19th century glass spirit decanters dating to c1830.
They have their original cut ball stoppers within scallop cut rims with poring sections to the front. Slice cut necks above square bodies which have been diamond cuts around the shoulders and down the edged corners. Polished pontils.
One decanter has Rum engraved on the front panel, the other has Hollands (Gin).

England, c1830. Period of William IV.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration. A few minor grazes to the cuts and the Hollands decanters has some minor internal residue.

Hand-blown around the time McVitie's was founded as McVitie & Price's biscuit bakery in Edinburgh.
