Technical Description
A pair of Georgian Regency Cylindrical cut glass decanters dating to c1830. They have their original hollow mushroom cut stoppers above wide poring rims. Single applied neck rings with slice cut shoulders above slice and prism cut bodies. Star cut bases.
You can find examples of Cylindrical decanters from this era on page 308 of "The Decanter Am Illustrated History of Glass from 1650" by Andy McConnell...which is one of his two books on the subject A fantastic read and full of wonderful illustrations. One of the best-researched and presented glass books on the market.
