Technical Description
An exceptional pair of 19th-century glass wine carafes made by Thomas Webb and Engraved by J.H.B. Miller in 1875.
Very detailed and beautiful engraving showing flower, foliage, swallows and butterflies on circular feet with polished pontils.
You can see the exact same engravings on the Antique Glass Stourbridge web site under engraved glass by JHB Miller showing a claret jug engraved by Miller in 1875 before he moved to Stevens and Williams.
