A studio art glass teapot by Michael J. Hunter. Handmade blown glass, the form is hot-worked from colourless glass with opaque and transparent ‘tutti’ murrine and ‘frutti’ canes, a matching lid sits neatly atop the neck. The base is signed ‘M Hunter Twists 10’.
This is one of Mike’s one-off experimental pieces, a very fun and interesting vessel using his signature tutti frutti pattern. Note that this is a decorative artwork and should not be subjected to high temperatures.
