Tutti Murrine Studio Glass Spirit Bowl by Michael J. Hunter

Technical Description 

A decorative studio art glass bowl by Michael J. Hunter. This form has been inspired by harmony bowls used by monks, so named the spirit bowl. Handmade blown glass in the ‘tutti’ pattern; hot-worked from colourless glass with transparent murrine inclusions, an amethyst rim and a clear cylindrical foot. The base is signed ‘M Hunter Twists 20’.

Produced in 2020, period of Elizabeth II. Twists Glass Studio, Selkirk, Scotland.

Condition

Excellent, specially selected from the hot glass studio, as new.
