Technical Description 

An excellent example of a Venetian glass catchall dish. Made on the island of Murano, near Venice, and designed by Alessandro Mandruzzato. It has a combination of cobalt blue glass, cased in amber glass, which is further encased in an angular, bark-textured block of clear glass. Made using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Italy, c1960.

Condition

Single small slither chip to the underside of the bark texture, outside that it's in excellent condition.
