Technical Description
An excellent example of a Balustroid 18th century ale glass.
It has a conical bowl above a shoulder and basal knop stem sitting on a conical folded foot.

England, c1780. Period of George III.

Excellent, age-related wear as shown.

In Feb 1782, James Chamlmers was born in Arbroath, Scotland. He was the inventor of the adhesive postal stamp.
