Technical Description
A fantastic Victorian Glass Punch Bowl dating to 1884.
It has a large cup bowl quality engraved with ferns, geometric leaves and cross cuts. Also has the initials JV 1884 engraved on the bowl. A rather nice stem consisting double opposing baluster and inverted baluster knops with a central collar. Large star cut foot with a polished pontil.
Probably used as a punch bowl in the centre of the table in conjunction with toddy lifters or ladles.
A fine quality piece probably by Richardson.
