Technical Description 

A rare pair of English 18th century facet cut wine glasses dating to c1780.


They have round funnel bowls with gilded rims above an OXO engraved band. Bridge cutting at the base of the bowl leading down to diamond facet cut stems with conical feet and snapped pontils.


Very unusual examples, the gilded rims being a very rare feature.

Date & Origin 

England, c1780. Period of George III.

Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration.
