Technical Description
A rare 18th century antique wine glass. A round funnel bowl rests upon a mixed twist stem. The stem is comprised of a spiral air cable opposite a spiral opaque thread, This surrounds an intertwined air and opaque column. A fine example, the piece is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time Taylors & Lloyds Bank was established in Birmingham in 1765.
