Technical Description
A very fine Victorian engraved wine goblet dating to c1868.
It has a large round funnel bowl with a detailed floral band of roses, clover and thistles around the rim with a floral cartouche containing the name and date John Sykes 1868. Sits above a well balanced stem with two hollow cushion knops and a large hollow basal knop . Conical foot.
The workmanship would point to either Stevens & Williams or perhaps Richardson.
