Technical Description
A truly stunning engraved water set by Richardson & Sons dating to c1870.
The water ewer has a wide poring rim with slice and facet cuts down the neck and an applied strap handle. It has been engraved with the Prince of Wales crest of three ostrich feathers issuing from a crown and surrounded by flowing Lilly Of The Valley flowers and leaves. Circular raised radial cut foot.
The goblets have similar Prince of Wales crest engravings and Liily of the Valley flowers. Hollow slice cut stems above star cut feet.
A very high-quality set with possible royal connections.
