Technical Description
An 18th century pedestal stem sweetmeat glass. A waisted double ogee bowl rests upon a hollow eight sided pedestal stem. The piece is supported by a domed and folded foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the British settlement of Halifax, Nova Scotia was founded.
