Technical Description
An exceptional early 19th century cut glass perfume bottle. The mushroom stopper features flute and diamond cutting. Polished shoulders leading down to a radial and diamond-cut body.
Date & Origin
England or Ireland, c1820. Period of George IV.
Condition
Excellent, a few very small nibbles to a few of the diamond cuts and edges as expected. Clean and clear, original stopper.

Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the streets of Birmingham were lit by gas for the first time on the 14th of April 1819.
