Technical Description
A 19th century cut glass vase. The urn-shaped bowl has a notch-cut rim and is decorated with a variety of cutting types including; prism, slice, split and cross-cut diamonds. The thick pedestal base exhibits a star cut underside.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Michael Faraday demonstrated the first electric transformer.
