Comments
Syllabub was a very popular dessert drink from the 18th century, made from wine, claret, or sherry with a topping of frothy cream, lemon, or other species....there were a number of recipes.
This particular glass is very special, with very few having twin handles. We have never seen one with such a pronounced conical bowl.
