Technical Description
A superb large example of a 19th-century deceptive toastmaster wine glass. A heavily deceptive conical bowl upon a knopped stem featuring an angular knop. A conical foot with a snapped pontil completes the piece.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Royal Astronomical Society was founded in London.
