Technical Description
A magnificent Irish Serving Bowl. It has its original lid with small diamond cuts, larger cross cut diamonds and prism cuts. Overturned rim with identical cutting to rim and body with large facet cut ball knop. Square foot with square crosscuts.
One of the best cut pieces we have had in some time.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Austins of Derry was established in Northern Ireland. At its closure in 2016, it remained the world's oldest independent department store.
