Technical Description
18th century air twist wine glass. The stem is comprised of a pair of four ply spiral bands which transitions into a flared trumpet bowl with well defined pucella marks. The foot is conical and has a rough pontil. Soda glass which could be English or continental.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the Ruins of Pompeii were rediscovered, by Rocque Joaquin de Alcubierre of Spain.
