Technical Description 

An 18th century pedestal stem sweetmeat or champagne glass. A large round funnel bowl with an everted rim above a twelve-sided pedestal stem between collars. Domed and folded foot.  

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time the British captured Pondichéry, India from the French on the 16th of January 1761.
