Technical Description
A superb pair of amethyst glass finger bowls. Simple incurved bowls with broad polished pontils. Used for rinsing the fingers at the dining table in a time when eating with the hands was commonplace.
Historical Relevance
Hand crafted around the time King George IV died and was succeeded by his younger brother William IV.
