Technical Description
19th century cut dram glass. The thistle bowl is profusely cut using an array of techniques including slice, diamond, and split cutting. The bowl is supported by a knopped stem featuring facet cutting. This is all supported by a conical foot with a radial cut base.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Edgar Allan Poe's poem ‘Raven’ was first published on the 29th of January 1845.
