Technical Description
18th century colour twist ale glass. The elongated round funnel bowl is engraved with hops and barley in saltire along with initials IR. This rests upon a colour twist stem comprised of an opaque spiral cable and two red spiral threads. A conical foot with a rough pontil supports the piece.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time George III became King of Great Britain on the 23rd of October 1760.
