Technical Description 

A rare early 19th century peacock blue cruciform decanter. An elegant neck features a wide rim and an applied annulated neck ring. The eight sided body is finished with slice cutting to each face. A polished pontil completes the piece. This decanter has a slice cut spire stopper. 

Historical Relevance 

Hand-made around the time King George III was recognised as being insane.
