Technical Description
A cut and engraved 19th century glass decanter. The slice cut neck leads to a slice cut tapering body. The decanter features flashed amber panels alternating clear. Each panel is engraved with floral sprigs above fruiting vines. The base of the piece is finished with a polished pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Bohemia became part of the newly formed Czechoslovakia in 1918.
