Technical Description
An engraved and gilded plain stem wine glass. Plain stem transitions to a drawn trumpet bowl, engraved then gilded with a family crest. The glass is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand made around the time the Newcastle Infirmary was founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1751.
