Technical Description 

A superb 19th century Strawberry Comport or sweetmeat dish dating to c1870. It has a shallow wide bowl beautiful engraved with strawberries, strawberry flowers and leaves engraved around the rim. Sits on a baluster knop stem and conical foot with polished pontil.


What a wonderful piece of Victoriana and we cant say we've come across another example.
