Technical Description
A 19th century Scottish agate brooch in the form of a celtic cross. Finely engraved silver with knotwork detailing, mounted with a handmade scrolling c-clasp and a tube hinge, there is also an intact hanging loop. Set with eight alternating cut stones including red jasper, mottled jasper and bloodstone. The "classic" bloodstone is green jasper (chalcedony) with red inclusions of hematite.

Condition
Excellect, age related wear as shown. Pin to rear in full working order. Silver unmarked which is quite normal for Scottish Jewellery of this type.
