Technical Description
A superb Victorian wine goblet dating to c1870. It has a long round funnel bowl which has been engraved with pam trees and polished coconuts. Sits on a baluster knop stem above a star cut foot.
A very unusual subject matter for the 19th century when most in England had never seen a pam tree or tasted a coconut....certainly not a glass we have seen before and can be used for wine, ale or G&T.
