Technical Description
A rare early 19th century glass pickle or preserve jar with its original radial cut mushroom stopper. Petal cut rim above a barrel shaped body with deep slice cuts and a central strap. Sits on a petal radial cut foot.
One of the finest examples of a preserve jar we have had from this era.

England, c1820.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. A few minor nibbles to the central strap where it has brushed against other glass objects, which is minor and not unusual for kitchen ware. Clean and clear.
