Technical Description 

Made at the Holyrood Flint Glass Works in Edinburgh Scotland in the late 19th century, this is a superb and rare pair of frosted glass candlesticks in the form of milkmaids, the sconce being the milk buckets on top of their heads. Fine detail and clear slice cutting to the base. Weighing in at over 1kg each, you can find them on page 209 of 'From Goblets to Gasslights' by Jill Turnbull.

Small star at the base of one sconce. No chips, cracks or restoration.
