Technical Description
A stunning set of eight Art Nouveau Daum Nancy Cocktail glasses dating to c1900. The have conical bowls with vertical ribbing and 22ct gold brushed rims. Gilded central collar with the stem matching the bowl with vertical ribbing and gold brushed rims.
A truly stunning set.
We have provided a link below to a taller set of glasses with a matching signed tray which sold in 2017 at a leading European auction house in Vienna with the same rib moulding and distinctive gilding. Research has also shown that different forms, such as Champagnes, were made in this design in the Art Nouveau period.
