Technical Description
An 18th-century Baluster goblet. It has a large bell bowl with a solid section at the base, above a large inverted baluster knop and conical foot.
Date & Origin
England, c1730. Period of George II.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown.

Height: 21.2cm Rim diameter: 9.8cm Foot diameter: 10.2cm.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time King George I died on his way to Hanover in1727. His son, George, Prince of Wales, became King George II of Great Britain.
