Technical Description 

A fine Georgian engraved taper decanter dating to c1780. It has its original disc stopper. Facet cut neck with initials WP engraved with a floral wreath. Flute cuts the base.

England, c1780. Period of George III.

Condition

Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration, clean and clear.

Height: 31m (includes stopper) Diameter: 9.5cm

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge began on the 3rd of January 1870.
