Technical Description
An 18th century Armorial light baluster wine goblet dating to c1755.
It has a round funnel bowl engraved with the crowned arms of South Holland flanked by lion supporters, resting on a foliate scroll bracket. Angular knops between central knop. Domed foot.
A tall example over 8 inches with superb engraving.
Date & Origin
England, c1755. Period of George II.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips or cracks, a small section of the foot rim has had a profesional polish to remove a chip.
