Technical Description

A Victorian Coin Glass Goblet dating to 1861.

It has a large round funnel bowl engraved with fruiting vine and the initials WJ. Large hollow ball knop stem containing a silver 3d coin dated 1861. Conical folded foot.

Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration

Comments

This glass comes from the Michael Wallis collection which took over 45 years to build and contains over 250 drinking glasses, covering all forms from the 18th century, many exceptionally rare. They will all be presented by Exhibit over the coming weeks and months.
