Technical Description
A superb amethyst glass finger bowl from the first half of the 19th century. Simple cup bowl with a snapped pontil. Used for rinsing the fingers at the dining table in a time when eating with the hands was commonplace.

England, c1830 period of William IV.

Excellent, age-related wear as shown.
