Technical Description
An 18th century Baluster stem goblet. A large round funnel bowl rests upon a baluster stem featuring a teared inverted baluster knop, cushion knop, teared inverted baluster and a basal knop. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time The Royal Bank of Scotland extends the first overdraft on the 31st of May 1728.
