Technical Description
A superb Irish Waterford Glass Kettle Drum Standing Bowl dating to c1820. Flute-cut rim above bands of large cross-cut diamonds and oval cuts. Ball Knop stem above a terraced foot. Polished pontil.

Condition
Excellent, normal wear and tear for its age, no chips cracks or restoration

Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Austins of Derry was established in Northern Ireland. At its closure in 2016, it remained the world's oldest independent department store.
